A Performance card on each discount rule shows how many times it was used, with a link to Shopify’s sales report.

The app in 22 languages

The app now speaks 22 languages, including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Polish and the Nordic languages. Pick yours in Settings.

Fixes and polish

• Buy X get Y now rewards the cheapest item when the same products are in both X and Y.
• Gift cards no longer get discounts or count toward a tier.
• PO box rules match whole words only, so streets like “Portland Ave” or “Polk St” are no longer blocked.
• The “Allow customers to complete checkout” setting now works the right way round.
• Bulk actions on the Rules list no longer mark a rule active when Shopify refused it, or turn on discounts that already ended.
• Security improvements.

Rule size meter and one-typo matching

A meter shows how full a rule is as you build it, so a long rule never fails on save. Shipping address conditions can also match with one typo, so “Dubae” still matches “Dubai”.

Lists in conditions

Text conditions take a list separated by commas, so one condition can cover many streets or areas. A new template hides a shipping method for the streets you list.

Quick finder

Type what you want to do, like “hide COD”, and the Quick finder shows the templates and rule types that match.

Translate checkout messages

Add a translation of each checkout message for every language your store sells in. Shoppers see the message in their language. The app itself is now in 7 languages.

Block checkout only when a discount lands on products you choose by tag, collection or SKU. Other items keep their discounts.

Block checkout by payment method

Shopify Plus stores can block checkout when a shopper picks a payment method, like Cash on Delivery with a prepaid discount code. A new template gives free shipping on every method except Cash on Delivery.
